We will list here the question you ask us
How many people per teams ?
We strongly recommend 2 people per teams if you don't know each other already as it will make creating your game and working together much easier.
How to form teams ?
In the page teams you will find a public Airtable with the list of selected candidates. From there you should look for people who you will be a great skill match and common interest. The best way is to contact a list of people and propose to the one with the best match to form a team.
The only rule here is that there is at least one 42 student or alumni per team.
You can't form a team alone
Who owns the code of the project ?
You and your team mate.
How to win the prizes ?
On the Hackathon Rules and prices you can find the rules and the best way to find the prize.
Can I go after many prizes ?
Yes you can and we recommend you to go after the one you think you have the greatest chance to succeed. And you might even win two or more if you are really good.
What is the planning of the event?
You can find all planning related info here:
What is the format of the jury presentation?
You have 3 minutes each to present your concept or your game. We recommend making a demo but it could be anything, a video, a webpage, you playing the game you decide. The jury will have then 2 minutes to ask you questions.
My project is not related to gaming can I participate in the Hackathon?
Unfortunately, you can't work on a project that is not related to gaming. We suggest you to brainstorm with your team to find an idea related to the subject
